Remove covers from conditioner. Put down comfy cushion so your knees don't get wet. Get out your tools. Loosen both outer-most bolts. Loosen and remove all eight center bolts. Place wood blocks underneath and remove two outer bolts, letting blade rest on blocks. Place new blade on blocks, ready to install. Level conditioner. Set blade angle to 10 degrees. Make sure blade slightly catches edge of quarter when sliding it under each runner. Adjust if necessary. Raise blade five full turns. Test blade on ice surface.

I have been thinking about buying one for my neighborhood. I figure since the town is not willing to do a decent job plowing or salting, the least I can do is prepare the ice properly.

Yeah, I've never used one of the stick-on angle finders...the ones with the printed lines to match up with. As for blade count, we've got three sharps right now with a few dulls ready to be picked up. 24?!? Do you collect them as keepsakes? ;D
As for the radio, I forgot to upload the pic. I had Jim Rome on the whole time for some comedy.

Ha! I have pretty bony hands actually. I was just trying to make my fingers look extra strong to impress any of the ladies that search the web for Zamboni tips.

The blades were just bought over the year...I did get rid of 10 last March when we sold our old Zamboni...To get the 10 degrees, I don't use that sticker or that handheld gauge anymore..all you need to do is get a square and use it to line up that back edge of the blade holder bar with the inside frame of the conditioner..there is your 10 degrees ..very easy to do..and that is how it was done on the older Zambonis. I did a blade change tonight..old one wasn't cutting very well..We use an air gun and stronger bolts...Then I managed to shave out 8-9 loads of snow off the rink..which when put into square feet of snow, is about 900-1000 square feet
