Has any one figured out a way to get around the New York State Inspections Emissions Law? I'm not to knowledgable about the OBDII that is in my Jetta, but I have a Check Engine light on. I didn't know if any one had heard of a chip that tricks the computer into thinking it has good emissions or something like that. Thanks Jake

It would be more trouble to "trick" the computer then it would be just to fix the problem. Besides any registered repair shop that would do something like this is taking a HUGE risk, and that risk isn't worth taking.

It is also probably not a great idea to advertise that you you would like to defraud the state in a public forum. Just my $0.02

yeah, def dont advertise, and dont try to get a shop to look the other way about it, the owner is putting his ass on the line. I had a check engine light on in my official CAVA support vehicle for almost 7k miles on and off, i kept checking it at autozone to make sure it wasnt anything serious, thought i mite be able to clear the codes and get around it at jiffy lube. Nope, drove around with no sticker for almost 3 weeks. Ended up costing me 45 bucks worth of labor and parts to get rid of the CEL. All it was, was a ripped piece of hose, go figure out the problem, them come talk to us and we will help you get your car passed.

Just my $0.02 That's not what i meant AT ALL, I'm not looking for a shop to "look the other way", it's not possible to even do. What i'm looking for is a solution to my exhaust rather then put a new stock one back on. Sorry if i made it sound like i wanted to be a fraud....

I already know what the problem is, "secondary air injector too high of flow" I'm assuming that means that the second bank O2 sensor is getting to much air because of the exhaust

It's not because of the exhaust.

"secondary air injector too high of flow"
Sounds more like a problem with your secondary air pump not with your exhaust or your o2 sensors
